Golladay, Johnson top Lions offensive season grades from PFF

The youth movement is going well with the Detroit Lions offense. Through the first 12 games of 2018, a pair of young skill position talents tops the team’s Pro Football Focus grades for the year.

Second-year wide receiver Kenny Golladay is on top at 82.0. Golladay is followed closely by rookie RB Kerryon Johnson at 80.8. Those are impressive figures for the emerging standouts, neither of which was a first-round pick by Lions GM Bob Quinn.

Matthew Stafford comes in third in a season marked by inconsistent play from the 10-year veteran quarterback.

The top-graded lineman from PFF is right tackle Rick Wagner. His 72.9 score is not great, ranking 21st overall among tackles. T.J. Lang at right guard rounds out the offensive top five. Lang’s 72.0 score ranks 9th among all guards. He’s now on injured reserve.
