Allen Park — For the second straight week, the Detroit Lions will be without running back Theo Riddick. It remains unclear whether defensive end Ziggy Ansah will be sidelined for the sixth consecutive game.

The Lions ruled out Riddick on Friday after he missed another full week of practice with a knee injury that surfaced after the Lions’ bye. His absence didn’t hinder the team in last week’s victory over Miami, when the Lions ran for 248 yards in a 32-21 victory, the franchise’s most productive day on the ground in 21 years.

As for Ansah, he and linebacker Jarrad Davis (calf) are questionable for Sunday’s home game against Seattle.

Ansah has been on the shelf since suffering a shoulder injury in the first half of the Lions’ season opener. Davis, meanwhile, missed Wednesday’s practice and was limited the next two days.

The injury comes at a bad time for Davis, who is coming off his best performance of the season. If he’s unable to play against the Seahawks, Jalen Reeves-Maybin is the most likely option to start at middle linebacker.
