The Detroit Lions re-signed two special legal rights free agents Monday, linebacker Steve Longa and defensive conclusion Mitchell Loewen.

Longa missed all of the 2018 time with with a torn ACL he suffered in instruction camp. He experienced 13 tackles in 15 video games, enjoying mainly on specific teams, in 2017.

The Lions claimed Loewen off waivers from the New Orleans Saints in 7 days 17. He did not engage in for the Lions this time, and has appeared in just 3 video games in his NFL profession.

The Lions have a person remaining special legal rights free agent on their roster, specific-teams ace Charles Washington.

Free agency opens in the NFL on March 13, with the free-agent negotiating window commencing two times earlier on March 11.

The Lions have 16 unrestricted free agents, together with defensive conclusion Ziggy Ansah.
