
Detroit Lions linebacker Trevor Bates was arraigned Tuesday from a psychiatric ward on costs accusing him of punching a New York Town law enforcement officer immediately after he was taken to a precinct dwelling for failing to fork out a taxi fare.
Bates, 25, pleaded not responsible to costs of assault, resisting arrest, theft of companies and obstruction of governmental administration.
Bates has been hospitalized because his Jan. 26 arrest and was arraigned by way of a video clip hookup.
Bates’ lawyer, Eric Breslin, mentioned they had been searching ahead to “resolving this manner in an expeditious and satisfactory manner.”
Bates was arrested all around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 26 at a hotel near LaGuardia Airport immediately after allegedly refusing to fork out a $32 taxi fare for a journey from Manhattan.
