Get to know Detroit Lions linebacker Christian Jones in five questions:
Q. What’s the worst butt-chewing you’ve ever received from a coach?
A. “Probably from my coordinator, Coach (Mark) Stoops, back in college. My freshman year, we were playing Oklahoma. It’s a leverage thing. Was in outside leverage in a gap, he just went crazy. … I was upset at first, but it is what it is. Coaches are going to do that.”
Q. Thanksgiving is next week. What was your holiday tradition growing up?
A. “Usually stay with family, grandparents’ home. It’s been a while for that. Been quite some time, but that’s usually the tradition. It was just your typical Thanksgiving. The turkey, mac and cheese, ham. Cranberry sauce. Stuffing, all that stuff.”
Q. If you were a musician, what would your stage name be?
A. “C-Fly. I’d be a singer, but I’d do everything. I’m like a singer/rapper/rock star. I’d be a combo.”

Q. What’s your hidden talent?
A. “I don’t know if it’s a hidden talent, but I did play saxophone back in the day. Just in the band. Middle school band. Did that for three years. It’s been a while, but I probably can still mess around if I practice a little bit.”
Q. What mythical creature do you wish really existed?
A. “I guess seeing a unicorn would be pretty cool. What’s the horse in Hercules with the wings? Pegasus. That’d be a cool one. A horse you can fly with, that’s dope.”
